March was a great month around here: 3 birthdays, Easter, gardening, and baseball season starting. March was also a great month here on the blog. So let’s recap the best of the best, shall we?
Most popular post:
|Crockpot BBQ Chicken|
Wowsers! This one had so many views, it kind of shocked us. I think everyone loved how easy it is. Throw ingredients in a freezer bag, freeze, and when you want that for dinner throw it in crockpot and you’re done. Also we have to thank Weekend Potluck for featuring this recipe.
Second most popular post(s):
|Preschool Easter Craft, Why We are Making Easter a Big Deal,
Stones Rolled Away, Confetti Eggs,
and Countdown to Easter Printable
All of our Easter posts were so close in page views, that I just couldn’t choose. I know Easter is over with but if you missed any of these you might want to check them out and pin them for next year. Also thanks to The Better Baker for featuring Stones Rolled Away as her personal favorite on Weekend Potluck.
My (Lucy’s) Favorite:
|March Goal: Biscuit Making|
I love how Kerry didn’t give up even after flat, after flat biscuits. And these turned out great! If you’ve had trouble with biscuits or want to try a different way to make them, check it out.
|Gardening With Kids|
Jamie’s explains how she manages gardening with her kids and gets them excited about eating vegetables by growing them. And seriously isn’t Miss Magoo just so cute in that pic?
Jamie says; “I think it’s a thrifty but fun idea to make for people and I love homemade presents because I think they show people that you cared enough to spend the time to make them something.”
So if you want to make a fun, useful gift for a friend or yourself, go check it out (think about Mother’s Day coming up!). Also thanks to Julia Kendrick and Apple of Mama’s Eye for featuring this post at Thrifty Thursday.
