April Menu

 April Menu

We are heading into warmer months.  I have a feeling allergy season is coming early for us in Idaho.  I need to start my anti allergy routine soon so I don’t get knocked down like I did last year.  With warmer weather and allergies comes some great fresh produce.  I’m celebrating spring by adding more salad to the menu.  We have really liked the Big Steak Salad and that will be a constant on the menu for a while.  But I’m mixing it up with other salads.  The Hardworking Husband may think I got a little carried away.  But I’m going to enjoy the light fresh dinners.

Week 1:

Southwest Chicken Salad
Quiche
Spaghetti with Grilled Mozzarella Sandwiches
Pizza

Week 2:

Roast with Veggies
Pecan Crust Chicken
Pork Chops
Burgers
BBQ Ribs

Week 3:

Steak Fajitas
BBQ Chicken Salad
Bratwurst
Baked Tortellini with Bacon
Pizza

Week 4:

Big Steak Salad
Rotisserie Chicken
Ham
Busy Day Lasagna Toss
Burgers

Week 5:

Enchilada Casserole
Chicken Salad Sandwich
Pork Tenderloin

Is there going to be a Saturday Dishes theme for April or did I miss it?

Erlene, I'm so sorry we forgot to get the new themes up! They are up now, if you want to see them all at https://www.coffeewithus3.com/saturday-dishes/ Or if you're just wondering what the theme will be for this weekend, it is Cheap Meals. Thanks for the reminder!

Sounds great. I wish that I could stick to a menu plan but I am one of those that wait to the last minute before deciding what I will make and that will depend on what I can thaw out the fastest

My problem with waiting till the last minute was that I never had meat thawed in time. And I love not having to worry about figuring out what we are eating every day. I don't do well with flying by the seat of your pants.

So, where's my invite for dinner this WHOLE month!? This looks incredible, and I am so impressed that you plan your month out!

Kaitlin, I have found that it takes me the same amount time to plan a month as it does a week. So I just do it and then don't have to work on it for another month.

I have thought about being a personal chef and preparing several of the same meal and delivering to people's houses. I just need some clients. :)
