We have made these with Colby Jack, cheddar, and mozzarella. They’ve been delicious will all 3 kinds of cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 baguette (about 20 inches)
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 12 slices ham lunch meat (about 3/4 lb.)
- 6 slices cheese of your choice, or 1 cup shredded
Instructions
- Preheat broiler on oven, on high. Prepare a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper for each clean up.
- Cut baguette in half, lengthwise, and then cut in half again widthwise. Arrange pieces on baking sheet.
- Spread 1/2 Tablespoon of butter on each section.
- Sprinkle with garlic salt.
- Layer ham on each piece.
- Top with cheese.
- Broil in center of oven for 5-6 minutes, checking every 2 minutes, until cheese is melted.
