DIY Cleaning Caddy and Free printable cleaning schedule to help make cleaning quick and easy so you can spend time with your family! #‎ad‬ ‪#‎WindexMovieNight‬

I’ll be the first person to tell you that cleaning isn’t my strong suit. I’ve never been blessed with the desire to clean. However, it’s not something anyone can get away with just not doing because they don’t like it, so I’ve taken several steps to try to make cleaning easier and more fun.  I just want to be able to get my cleaning over with quickly so I can spend time with my family.

I’ve found that figuring out what to clean when is half the battle for me.  Because I’m not cleaning-minded, I don’t necessarily notice the things that need to be cleaned.  To get past this, I’ve created a cleaning list for myself.

I’ve set up my cleaning list based on my life.  Our garbage gets picked up on Fridays, so I clean out the fridge and empty all the garbages in the house on Thursday.  I have some friends that come over on Wednesdays, so I vacuum before they come.

If you have a hard time figuring out where to start with cleaning, this list is for you!  Print it out (the pdf doesn’t have a watermark, so don’t worry!), and either laminate it or slip it in a page protector, and then cross off each item as you do it.

Another thing I’ve done to make cleaning easier is to create a cleaning caddy.  My cleaning caddy contains the cleaning supplies for my whole house, making it easy to move all the cleaning supplies around the house for whatever task is at hand.

When I decided to create a cleaning caddy, I headed to my local Kroger Banner Store, Fred Meyer.  I knew I would be able to pick up all my cleaning and organizational supplies in one trip to save me even more time!

DIY Cleaning Caddy and Free printable cleaning schedule to help make cleaning quick and easy so you can spend time with your family! #‎ad‬ ‪#‎WindexMovieNight‬By organizing my cleaning supplies in a caddy, I can make cleaning quick.  I turn the music up high and rock out while I get my cleaning done for each day.  I’ve found that by having the supplies organized in this way, I’m not wasting my time searching for supplies.  I carry the caddy from one bathroom to the other or from the kitchen to the living room, and all my supplies are right there.  I love it!

By using both the printable and the cleaning caddy, I’m able to get my cleaning done in a jiff, so I can hang out with my family.  We enjoy hiking, biking, camping, skiing, and basically just anything outdoors!

So what supplies do you need in your cleaning caddy?  Here are the ones I keep in mine:

Cleaning Caddy

  • Toilet bowl cleaner
  • General bathroom cleaner
  • Windex® Original Glass Cleaner & jersey rag for cleaning mirrors and windows
  • Cleaning sponge or rag for cleaning counters and tub
  • Rubber gloves
  • Microfiber cloths
  • Sponge
  • Dusting Solution
  • Pumice stone

Optional items to add:

  • Paper towels to clean anything nasty
  • Steel wool (if you have a stainless steel sink, you may want this)

Every time I think about Windex® the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding comes to mind!  If you haven’t seen it before, you must watch it to understand why it conjures up images of Windex® Original Glass Cleaner.  It’s such a hilarious movie, with eccentric characters, but what I really love is how it places such a value on family, and spending time together with our families.

While Windex® may not be usable for all of the dad’s claims, it really does have a lot of great uses.  It’s the only product that gets a streak free clean on my windows every time.  I use Windex® to clean the faucet of my sink to make it shine, to wipe out the kitchen sink and make it sparkle, and to make my mirrors beautiful!  You can follow the Windex® facebook page or twitter feed to get more fabulous tips for cleaning.

I am looking forward to seeing My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 that will be in theaters on March 25th.  I’ve been stalking their facebook page in my excitement!  I can’t wait to see how things play out, and get some more deep belly laughs from the Windex® humor, and the fun family interactions.

If you’re excited for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, I have a great offer to share with you!  Right now, when you buy any participating Windex® brand products at Kroger and upload your receipt here, you will get an offer code on Fandango to redeem $3 toward your movie ticket to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2! Go check it out and save money while enjoying a fabulous film!

How are you making cleaning easier and more fun, so you can spend more time with your family?

I am actually thinking about hiring someone to come in and do my spring cleaning for me this year. I just have no motivation.

I wish I could afford that! But I’ve actually been surprised by how much I can do when I just set aside 15-30 minutes each day!

I hate cleaning, but I have to do it. Windex is a trusted brand. I loved that movie and I’m looking forward to see the new one.

My parents have something like this and use it all the time! I love your printables to go with it. That is a great way to clean a little each day and not all at once!

I need to make myself a cleaning caddy and schedule to break it up through out the week. Right now it’s just randomness and it works sometimes, but not always.

Having it all handy cuts down on cleaning time. Your caddy is an easy way to keep all your supplies nearby.

I just hired a cleaning lady and it was the best investment I’ve ever made! I’m actually very good at keeping up with the cleaning so she does what I don’t usually get to, like scrubbing down the bathrooms and washing the floors.

A cleaning caddy was a must at our old house, because it was 3 levels. In a smaller home, it may not be as necessary, but even if it’s just holding all the supplies that seems to help!
