Gender Reveal Party Cookies & Idea

Gender Reveal Party Cookies

When I got pregnant with my first child about ten years ago (holy cow! has it really been that long?!), no one was doing the gender reveal parties.  And since we didn’t do it with our first, we didn’t do it with any of our other children either.  Though, I think I had barely even heard of the idea when I was pregnant with our fourth.  But a little while back when Jamie and her children were over visiting, I had this great idea for gender reveal party cookies.  Not that she needed the idea and neither did I, but we decided to make some anyways, so we could share the idea with all of you.  And honestly, our children gobbled them up thinking they were just boy & girl cookies.

You could make these up and use them a treat for your party along with whatever else you have planned.  But Jamie had a great idea about to use these cookies to reveal the gender.  Make a bunch of these cookies and take a bite (or a fake bite) out of one of the cookies that match the gender of the expected baby.  Place that cookie at the bottom of the plate and pile the rest of the cookies on top.  Once enough of the cookies are eaten, the one with a bite taken out of it will be revealed along with the gender of the baby!

Yield: 48 cookies
