1 Minute Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip

1 Minute Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip

Okay, so technically it takes more than one minute before you can enjoy this yummy and easy fruit dip since you have to refrigerate it a bit before eating.  But it’s so easy to put together that is takes only about a minute.

I love Greek yogurt.  I eat the flavored kind all the time.  I cook with it often.  I put it in my breads, smoothies, and even use it to make fish sticks!  So I thought I bet it would make a great fruit dip!!  Now, I’m not completely fond of the tart flavor of plain Greek yogurt but the other flavors mask the tart flavor.  And if you love the tart flavor, don’t worry it’s still there a little.

I used some cinnamon chips that I had left over from Christmas baking and added in some vanilla and honey and I was really pleased with the finished product.

Total Time 2 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoon Cinnamon Chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until cinnamon chips are melted.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Refrigerate until cool and no longer runny.

I tried this dip with apples, bananas, and strawberries and loved it with all of these.  My youngest two ate it up too.  The older two wouldn’t even try it, don’t know what’s wrong with them!!  (Seriously, the food moods of kids are crazy!!  And honestly, one of the ones who loved it is my pickiest!!)

This looks so delicious! I have been seriously craving snacks like this lately. After a long, cold, carb-a-licious winter I need some fresh fruit and lighter fare!
