Walmart Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers are hosting an #UltraHug selfie contest to Spread the Love– find out how to enter for the chance to win $2,000 for your favorite community project!
With 3 kids that were born within 4 years, we’ve used a lot of diapers. I’ve tried a lot of different brands, and without a doubt we are a Huggies family. We are currently in our 6th straight year of diapers (and at times we had 2 kids in diapers at once), and Huggies has always met our expectations!
I love that when my kids are in Huggies diapers I don’t have to worry about leaking! The new Walmart Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers have a new, unique quilted liner to lock away wetness better. And they have a conforming, gap-free fit to keep your active baby dry throughout the day. The trusted Leak Lock® System has quick-absorbing layers for up to 12 hours of protection. Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers come in sizes from newborn up to 35 pounds!
But the fabulous diapers aren’t the only reason I love Huggies. I’m also so impressed by how Huggies loves to give back! Their newest project is all about Spreading the Love by giving back to local community projects!
When I first became a mom, I will admit that I was pretty overwhelmed! I didn’t know much about babies, as I hadn’t done much babysitting as a kid, and I don’t have any younger siblings or even younger cousins. Add on to that the fact that when my first was 10 months old, I got pregnant again, and I just didn’t feel like I could keep up.
I was so blessed that soon after my second was born, a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group was started in my area, giving me the chance to meet other moms that were struggling with the same things I was. And the best part of the organization is that they are set up using a mentorship model, so it wasn’t just a bunch of frazzled, exhausted young mamas sitting around commiserating. Instead there were older moms as well, who were able to share their wisdom, tips and tricks with us, and offer the hope that we wouldn’t always be so overwhelmed.
I’ve been part of the group for 3 years now, and I have seen so many new moms come in feeling just as overwhelmed as I did. MOPS offers them a break from their kids for 2 hours, the chance to connect with other moms, and hope!
So for the Huggies Spread the Love contest, I nominated our local MOPS organization!
It’s so easy to join the contest! All you need to do is follow these steps:
- Take a selfie of you and your baby (or use someone else’s baby, if you need to!).
- Upload the picture to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #UltraHug
- In your selfie post, nominate a community project including a name and/or identifying description of a community project in the US.
*Entries will be accepted until June 25th, and Huggies will be featuring them in a collage on the campaign landing page. On July 6th, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.
