March Menu

March always marks the month that I can start grilling again without freezing.  It is still a bit cold out there, but most nights I don’t need to wear my parka to grill.  And grilling means meals can get a little lighter.  The Hardworking Husband is very much over soup and I’m beginning to join him on that.  Although, I’m sure we’ll have a few more cold days that I can make soup for lunch.

Week 1

Big Steak Salad (We have decided we love this salad)
Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken
Biscuits & Gravy
Busy Day Lasagna Toss
Pizza

Week 2

French Dip Sandwiches
BBQ Chicken Salad
Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Spaghetti with Grilled Cheese Mozzarella Sandwiches
Burgers

Week 3

Fajitas
Chicken Strips
Sausage & Rice Skillet
Crockpot Ravioli
Pizza

Week 4

Roast & Veggies
Chicken BLT Salad
Grilled Pork Chops with Garlic Lime Sauce
Tortellini & Alfredo Sauce
Burgers

Week 5

Steak

I’m sure hoping March does it’s traditional in like a lion and out like a lamb.  It will be nice to start getting the garden ready and eating much lighter.

You are incredible! I struggle planning for a week at a time sometimes, even though I know if I can manage to sit down and plan and shop for the entire week it actually saves time and money - wow the whole month? You are my hero!

Thanks. I have found that it takes me about the same amount of time to plan a month as it does to plan a week. A friend of a friend plans a month and then they use the same menu for 6 months. While that doesn't work for us, I could see it being a lot easier especially when you have kids and they like list being limited.

Nice menu! I like how you left days open for eating leftovers or going out.

Thanks. I like to leave days open so The Hardworking Husband will cook occasionally. He comes up with some great ideas from time to time. He also has things I would never eat. :)

Great menu. I see some items I can plug into my own plan.
