Pork and Poultry Seasoning Rub is a versatile seasoning that can be used for smoking, grilling or even baking. It is slightly sweet and full of flavor.
Whether you are grilling, smoking or baking pork, chicken or turkey, this seasoning adds amazing flavor to them. I love that it uses seasonings that you usually have on hand. And of course since we love coffee around here, it has just a little bit of ground espresso in it.
How to rub pork:
Sprinkle generous amount of rub on each side and rub it on the meat.
How to rub chicken:
First lift the skin up on the breast. It may take a little force at first. Take a spoon full of rub and put under the skin on the breast on each side. Sprinkle generous amount on skin and rub it on the meat on all sides and make sure you get it under the wings and around the legs.
How long can you leave the rub on the meat?
Once you’ve rubbed the meat with seasoning, you can leave it on the meat up to 12 hours. Be sure to refrigerate meat if you are not cooking it right away.
