Preschool Shape and Color Craft

This has been a go to craft on mine for years with my children and for preschool Sunday school classes. It is easy to set up and they can do the craft on their own. This is a great one for your kids to work on while you do chores or work on a project.
What you need:
*Scissors for the Adult
*Construction Paper
*Glue Sticks (or bottle glue)
I start by grabbing a few different size cups and tracing them on to a sheet of construction paper. Then I draw straight lines to make squares and triangles. (I just used the edge of another sheet of paper but you could use a ruler.) I drew shapes on 2 pages and then stacked several other colors behind them and cut through several sheets at once.
Once all the shapes were cut, I threw them all in the middle of table and gave the kids a sheet of construction paper. (We used black since we always have a bunch of that and the other colors show up really well).
Normally, I would give each kid a glue stick and let them have at it but of course after I got all my shapes cut, I couldn't find the glue sticks. So this time we used bottle glue.
