Healthy, non-dairy, & full of protein, this Skinny Banana Split Milkshake only tastes indulgent.
I can no longer eat ice cream and man do I miss it! My oldest daughter can’t have dairy either so I’ve been exploring more ways to make “fake” ice cream. This is my new favorite way to have ice cream without really having ice cream.
My daughter and I just recently switched to almond milk and we’re still getting used to it. But I absolutely love it in smoothies. For this one, I bought chocolate almond milk and my daughter and I both love it. So I added it with the banana, and the peanut butter to give it the nutty flavors, like peanuts on top of a banana split. My son thought it was a little bit too peanut buttery but I like it just the way I made it. So if you’re not a huge peanut butter fan, you may want to go a little lighter on the peanut butter.
