Snow Covered Pine Cones are a super easy craft decoration and only require 3 things to make them. They are so easy kids can do it.
Oh friends, let have a little heart to heart about crafts. I do not do crafts. I’m too much of a perfectionist to do crafts. They drive me nuts because they never come out the way I picture in my head. Up until now, I have left the crafts to Lucy and Jamie. And they have done a marvelous job. It’s possible that my eye-hand coordination is bad. I just never can make things the way I want them to. So I don’t do them.
Well until now. I saw these snow covered pine cones that were perfect for my rustic kind of Christmas decorations. They said they were a kids craft so I thought I might be able to do it.
To make these Snow Covered Pine Cones, you’ll need the following:
All of these things can be bought at Hobby Lobby, your local craft store, or on Amazon.
I also used 2 paper plates to keep things neat.
Pour fake snow onto one paper plate.
Drizzle glue over the bottom half of a pine cone. I did this over the second paper plate so if any glue dripped it was on the plate. Then hold pine cone over the plate with the fake snow and sprinkle snow onto pine cone.
Once you have coated the pine cone to your liking, place on first paper plate to dry. Allow to dry completely.
Shake any loose snow from the pine cone and use for your decorations.
Are you crafty? This would be a perfect craft for your kids.
Or are you like me? This craft is perfect for you.
