Sourdough Bread Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 slices California Goldminer Sourdough Bread
  • 1 lb Cooked Sausage
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 cups milk, or 3 cups milk and 1 cup 1/2 &1/2
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Grease a 13x9 pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Chop bread into bite-size pieces and spread in prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle sausage over the bread.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, garlic salt and pepper. Pour over the ingredients in the pan.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
