Latte Buttercream Frosting

  • 2/3 cups butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. cold brew coffee or strongly brewed coffee ***
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. milk


  1. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter and coffee.

  2. Beat powdered sugar in one cup at a time, beating until smooth between additions.

  3. Beat in milk one Tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.  It may not take all 4 Tbsp.

  4. Frosts a two-layer cake.
