Spring & Summer Wreath

Fun & Colorful Spring & Summer Wreath made with scraps of fabric.  It's perfect to leave up from March to September!! 

I'm one of those people who really only decorates her house twice a year: Christmas and the all the other time decor.  But when we moved into our new house in November, I didn't really bother to decorate since it was almost Christmas and time to decorate for that and now that Christmas is well past, I still haven't really decorated our house like I want to.  I just can't seem to decide what I want to do with it.  

But my mom made me this spring and summer wreath to go over my mantle and I just love the pop of color it brings!  And I love that I can keep it up all spring and summer. I might have to change up my decorating style and actually change out my decor more often.  Or I may more it to my front porch if I find something permanent for over the mantle.  

This wreath is made with fabric scraps, so if you have a lot of those lying around you can make this wreath for pretty cheap. 

Spring / Summer Wreath

What you need:
- 10 in long by 2 ½ in wide fabric strips (about 80 for a large wreath)
- Circle Wire Wreath Form 
- Accessories (optional) 
- Hot glue (necessary to attach some accessories)

Tie your fabric strips onto your wreath form by folding the strip in half, laying it against the front of the wire, pull end of fabric over the wire from behind. Then go through the loop between the two halves and pull tight. (See picture below)

Continue until wreath form is full of fabric.  Attach flower accessories with hot glue or hang cross or other accessories with ribbon in the middle of the wreath.
