DIY Fall Wreath

I really wanted to do a cute fall wreath for my door this year. I kept seeing cute fabric flowers on Pinterest, so I figured I'd try my hand at those.

Making the fabric flowers is pretty simple.  You'll need strips of fabric and a hot glue gun (or fabric glue).  The fabric strips can be any length and width, depending on how big you want the finished flowers to be.  I started with about 2 feet of length for the bigger ones, and then just stopped once I got them as big as I wanted them.  I wouldn't have minded if they were a bit bigger, but I had a hard time keeping the flower edges going out farther-- it seemed like once they got a certain size, the new parts I put on just wanted to fall to the back, even with hot glue.

Also, I just want to say that hot glue guns are hot. (I used to frequent a coffee shop that had "Hot coffee is hot" printed on their cups, due to the whole McDonald's hot coffee thing, and it always made me laugh). Pretty sure my thumb is burned down into the bone. It sure hurts!
