I love berries in general and blueberries are some of my favorite. And since they are in season right now, I figured now was a perfect time to find more great blueberry recipes so I could share them with you.
I love having blueberries for breakfast, dessert or even for dinner! There’s really no reason to not have blueberries all day long while they’re fresh and delicious! You can even freeze your blueberries to keep the yummy blueberry recipes coming all year long!
To easily freeze, spread fresh blueberries in a single layer on a cookie sheet that’s been lined with parchment paper, and freeze until solid. Then transfer them to a freezer bag.
Good thing blueberries are so good for you! They’re packed full of antioxidants, plus they’re a great source of fiber, manganese, vitamin C, and vitamin K. Some studies show that blueberries can be beneficial to your blood pressure, memory, blood sugar control, and even in preventing heart disease.
Add to that the fact that blueberries are low in calories and you’ll definitely want to add lots of blueberries to your diet. Not only do blueberries taste amazing but they’re amazing for you!
