Red, White, and Blue Napkin Rings {Kids Craft}

red, white, and blue napkin rings - kid craft - easy and fun craft perfect for the 4th of July or any time you want to be patriotic!

I told you the other day, I went a little red, white, and blue crazy this year in excitement for the 4th of July.  This is the second kid craft we made.  If you missed the red, white, and blue kids place mat, you might want to check it out.  This "red, white, and blue napkin rings" kid craft is another really easy one, goes great with the place mats and very thrifty, which is why I'm sharing it with you on Outside the Box Monday

Red, White, and Blue Napkin Rings

What you need:

  • Toilet Paper Rolls or Paper Towel Rolls (each toilet paper roll makes 3 napkin rings)
  • Scissors
  • Red, White, & Blue Paint

How to:

  • Cut your toilet paper rolls into 3 sections
  • Pre-paint them white.
  • Let your children paint them in stripes, or blue with white dots or get creative and paint them however they would like.  Make sure to let dry between coats.

And that's it!  Super simple but I think they turned out pretty cute!  While I stuck cloth napkins in them to take pictures, I'm sure they would still look cute with paper napkins for an outdoor BBQ!
