I realized today my oldest son’s birthday is quickly approaching and I hadn’t even begun to think about his party. I really need to at least have a convo with my hubby soon on what kind of party: kid, family or combo (which is what we usually do). We don’t usually have huge or elaborate parties but we do have fun and try to make the day special for the birthday kid. So while I brainstorm on party themes, I thought I’d share last year’s party with you.
My oldest, DP, has been fascinated with bugs for many years so we went with a bug and creepy crawler theme last year and had a very buggy birthday!

My son still enjoys bugs but not nearly as much. He’s more into Magic Tree House books, Legos, Batman and Wii games. Anyone have party ideas along those lines?
