Fruit of the Spirit Sign

Upcycle old cabinet and drawer fronts to make new and fun home decor with this Fruit of the Spirit Sign!

I mentioned a while back that my sister got new cabinet fronts, so she gave me an old one and I turned it into our Verse of the Week Chalkboard.  Well, I wanted to show you what she did with one of the drawer fronts. 

She turned it into this beautiful piece of art-- a Fruit of the Spirit Sign.  My sister is so much more artistic than I am, and she free-handed this whole thing. 

The Fruit of the Spirit Sign is done on the front of a drawer, so it's pretty small.  My sister had a skinny space next to her fridge that she wanted decoration for, so she decided that this sign would work perfectly.  The black background was spray painted with a black Rustoleum paint, and then she painted the words on with cream craft paint.
