Quick and easy Ham and Cheese Croissant Bites are perfect for entertaining or on-the-go snacks.
I rarely buy canned croissants, but I always purchase a few packages around Easter time as a special treat. I typically buy the 5 pack of crescent rolls from Costco since it goes on sale at that time.
We use a couple of the cans to make Resurrection Rolls, and then I try a fun and different recipe with the rest.
This year I ended up buying crescent rolls earlier. I wanted to try something different, so I made these ham and cheese croissant bites. After all the sweets of Valentine’s Day, I wanted something savory.
We packed these ham and cheese croissant bites with a bunch of leftover ham, cheddar cheese, and a mayonnaise mixture. They ended up being the perfect savory treat!
These ham and cheese croissants would be great with asparagus, spinach, broccoli, or red peppers, if you’d like to add some vegetables to them to make them a bit healthier.
You can also switch up the cheese for a different taste. Mozzarella or pepper Jack would both be delicious in place of the cheddar. I used a sharp cheddar to make it more flavorful than a mild cheddar would be.
You can also change up the seasoning in the mayonnaise mixture, if you’re not a fan of garlic. Cajun seasoning, basil, oregano, or onion powder would all be delicious in place of the garlic powder.
