Muscle Rub is easy to make, use, and is all natural. It uses essential oils to support you muscles after a work out or strenuous work.
Last week my mom and I went to Denver to visit our friends Auntie M and Colorado BFF and their family.
We stayed up late, ate a lot, and talked a lot. We had a blast. This is the first visit I had made after getting my Young Living essential oils.
We had a great time smelling them all and me teaching them how to use them. Friday night I taught a class about oils and we made lotion bars, in-shower coconut oil lotion bars, muscle rub, and sleep cream.
Since I’ve already shared with you how to make the two kinds of lotion bars, I thought I’d share the rub and the cream with you.
For the Sleep Cream recipe, click this picture!
Both of these will fit nicely in baby food jars. If you don’t have any of those, just store them in any glass jar.
1/4 cup coconut oil
10 drops Peppermint
10 drops PanAway
10 dops Copaiba
5 drops Aroma Siez
5 drops Valor
Using a mixer blend all ingredients together until smooth. Place in a small jar and store in the refrigerator. This recipe doubled will fit in a baby food jar nicely.
To use: rub the Muscle Rub where ever your muscles need it.
A tip for storage: If you store this on its side in the refrigerator until it is solid, it is easier to get out.

I could so use some of this most nights. I lay awake at night with restless legs and sore muscles and I'm sure this would be the solution!

My sweetie is constantly running out of muscle rub – how cool would it be to make my own. I have never heard of PanAway, Copaiba, Aroma Siez, and Valor. Where do I get those from? Are those strictly from Young Living essential oils?

All but the Copaiba are oil blends. Meaning they are several single oils mixed together. Theses blends are sold by Young Living. You can contact your local Young Living distributor or you can go to my oil website www.oilygurus.com/kerry-countryman and order them from there.

Oh I need to try this out! I have most of those oils on hand but I'll need a few more. Luckily, they were on my list anyway!

If Copaiba isn't one you have or have on your list, I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorites.
