Do you need an easy, kid-friendly weeknight dinner? That’s also comfort food? Try out this cheesy & delicious Tater Tot Casserole! Plus if you don’t do cream of soups, check out the easy substitute!
I’m pretty sure Tater Tot Casserole is a staple of childhood. Or at least it’s a staple of my children’s childhood. I love how easy this is too throw into the oven and it’s a quick dinner that I can feel better about it than a hot dog or boxed dinner. If the last time we had it, I easily threw it together and got the children fed before soccer games, which sometimes is quite the feat around here.
It’s also very easy to double, triple or whatever to feed a hungry crowd. All the pictures, show the recipe doubled. And it easily fed all 8 of us!
There are a lot of recipes for tater tot casserole out there but this is my absolute favorite! Plus it has cheese! I’ve found a lot of these recipes didn’t have cheese, including my grandmother’s recipe! What was she thinking?? {But really, if you don’t do cheese, just leave it off and this will still taste great!}
