This Citrus Teriyaki Chicken is full of taste and a nice change from the typical freezer meal.
One of the greatest time savers I’ve found as the mama of small kids is freezer meals. You can put together several meals at once and save yourself so much time, plus it saves money as well! The directions given are to make this Citrus Teriyaki Chicken into a freezer meal. If you aren’t freezing this, just put the ingredients in to a bowl and let the chicken marinade for a few hours before grilling.
- 1 lb Chicken Breast (if your family is bigger do 2 lbs)
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Vinegar
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp Orange Juice
- Put the ingredients in a freezer bag.
- To Prepare: Thaw completely in the fridge. Grill the chicken. Pour the rest of the contents of the bag into a small pot, and boil for 5 minutes. (If you prefer a thicker sauce, add a little cornstarch)
- Serve chicken over rice with sauce over the top.
This is one of four Chicken freezer meals, I’m making today. Be sure to check out the rest of the freezer meals.
