Skinny Salsa Dip – A yummy low fat dip made with Greek yogurt & salsa.
In the fall, I began to have some tummy trouble especially when I eat dairy that was high in fat or really any high in fat food. So I’ve cut out most cheese (sad!!), cream, and ice cream (really sad!!) So when the Super Bowl, rolled around I really wanted to make a dip that I could eat.
But I knew one with sour cream or cheese was completely out of the question. So when I was making my Turkey Salsa Burger, I thought this salsa/Greek yogurt “dressing” would make a really good dip, if I added to it a bit. And this is what I came up with. It’s pretty yummy! It’s almost like a queso but without the cheese (and therefore the fat and the tummy troubles!).
Skinny Salsa Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup non-fat Greek Yogurt
- 2/3 cup salsa
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup sliced olives
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together.
I just love dip and was so glad to find one I can actually eat. This dip is great just how it is in the recipe or you can mix it with mashed avocados for another great dip!
