Taco Seasoning
Taco Seasoning is super easy to make and comes with none of the junk, MSG, and fillers that you get in the store bought packets.

In my cupboard is a whole bunch of pint canning jars filled with seasonings for all kinds of things. You have already seen my season salt and dry onion soup mix. Now I'm sharing my taco seasoning. It's super easy and you use less than store bought because there are no fillers in it.
Homemade taco seasoning of course is less expensive for several reasons. Buying spices in bulk is less expensive, you aren't paying for fillers and preservatives, and you use less. It is also better for you because you aren't eating fillers and preservatives. And best of all, it tastes fresher.
Do you need to add water to taco seasoning?
Yes, water needs to be added when cooking it. For this recipe, you need to add ½ cup of water with each 2 tablespoon of taco seasoning after the meat has been cooked.
How much taco seasoning do you add?
For one pound of meat, you need to add 2 tablespoon of seasoning.
Recipes to use taco seasoning in:
