Triple Berry Crisp

I love crisps!  I think it’s the brown sugar or many the combination of the brown sugar & the oatmeal. But I absolutely love crisps!  I made Apple Crisp all fall long & am also a big fan of Peach Crisp.  {Related: Blueberry Crisp}

But since it’s a long time before I’ll be harvesting peaches or apples, I decided to make a berry one.  We had picked blackberries and blueberries when we were on vacation to Texas, so I knew they would be perfect! {Related: Harvest Roundups}

I added strawberries to the mix too because I love strawberries & I thought the combination of those three berries would be delicious!  This crisp turned out amazing & was a hit at a game night we hosted. It’s even better with ice cream on top! {Related: 50 Strawberry Desserts}

Triple Berry Crisp

Triple Berry Crisp
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 cups blackberries, blueberries & strawberries, it doesn't have to be even amounts of each, just six cups total
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats, or quick oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Spray 9 by 13 in. pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Put berries in bottom of prepared pan.
  4. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon. Cut butter into the oat mixture. Drop mixture evenly over the blueberries.
  5. Bake for 30 mins or until golden brown. 
  6. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
